There are numerous countries that you could work in today that are looking for employees and some nations nearby that are looking for business start ups, I have seen dozens if not more that are in Mexico, Ecuador, Chili and Brazil, it is not just the major companies that are going over seas its the people who lost their jobs and started over again in a foreign country, oh and the Caribbean is especially good!!
It does not matter what state or country you start a business in it could be the best decision you can make, an example of a gamble was a man went to Mexico to visit while there he discovered that auto parts were hard to get in many small towns so he opened a parts store in a small city and made a fortune.
So to did a helicopter mechanic who started repairing helicopters in Northern Mexico a few years later he opened a motorcycle shop selling new and used motorcycles!!! The business world is waiting why are you!!??
Many states need special services and special businesses what you need to do is research the kind of enterprise that would fit neatly into a community and make a profit you can be proud of! With that we will look at the different types of businesses you can start this week or soon!
Are you an accountant then why are you not in business for yourself with a bookkeeping service or if yo also know taxes add taxes as well a small office in a visible neighborhood, again there are numerous opportunities here you could work out of your home as well!
The way to get started is to make business cards make a bunch of flyer's and past them up on bulletin boards pass them out and of course there is social media so if these are some ideas for you then good luck and get it as they say "To Market"!
More opportunities are for example if your are an auto mechanic with certified auto repair skills, not a flake like some we know, start a business where you go to the customer, at their home, their business or your place if you have the room to work without ruining your property and pissing off the neighbors, again this is a self starting mechanism by getting cards, flyer's and maybe social media. Do small jobs, oil changes, tune-ups, minor repairs you can handle locally without a lot of tools!!! Have Mechanic Will Travel would be a good slogan!
I use to live in Rancho Calaveras in Calaveras county and there was a local mechanic that did just that and he made a fortune with the locals because the shops in Stockton were at least 28 miles away so if you are in a secluded area this could be a big advantage!!!
For those who live in suburbs and small areas the advantage of starting a business could be phenomenal!! If you have the drive and business ingenuity this could be the money maker you have been looking for!
How about owning a truck and car rental? First there are four major truck rental companies like Budget, Ryder and Penske then U-Haul, they can be a great way to build a small storage business if you are in an area where a storage center may be needed they normally credit operators 25% each month so this could be something worth looking into of course have a business plan outlined, which is a good idea for all the business idea's we mention!
