There are thousands of real estate operations in the U.S. and in other nations as well,  you can start a real estate franchise or start your own real estate business as well as being an investor or join a real estate investment club and earn money that way!

As for real estate franchises there is Century 21 the largest franchise of then all, there is Better Homes and Gardens, then there is Coldwell Banker the Cadillac of real estate, then there is ERA, Next Real Estate and others as well.

Next there are real estate services such as Georgetown Franchise Services they market build and sell condo storage units!  Next there is Home Seller Assist helping home sellers and buyers. Followed by Homes 4Sale By Owner Network should be self explanatory they are a 4 sale by owner network!

GENESIS BUSINESS CLUB #10 getting started in a business

THE HARD PART IS

Finding the right fit, or the right business!  Then getting the necessary capital followed by the right location!  Of course there are numerous businesses that can be operated at home should that be the direction you want to go in.

Examples of home businesses would be accounting and tax services, and a mechanics home business where you repair cars and trucks at home so long as the neighbors are not upset with that, then there is a new business that is sweeping the nation cook for families either in your home or their home!

There are a number of small businesses that do not need large offices and yet there are those that do, again I refer you to crowd funding as a way to find the finances that you may require for the business of your dreams!

Other home businesses are chefs on call there are several of these types of businesses in the works, these cooks prepare dinners sometimes breakfasts and lunches for those on the go, they are popping up on the Internet almost in every city!!  

Next there are Inventory services for those who are handy with a camera doing photographic inventory is a new way to do business!!  This along with paper shredding are growing big time!!

THE WIDE WORLD OF TRAVEL


Travel all kinds of travel!  Air travel, bus charters, group travels and individual travel!!  Are you into travel?  There are a number of perks for those who do venture into this area of business.

If you go into air travel then you can and will be able to travel however now the IRS taxes it and then there is cruise line travel, you can develop a group and again receive free travel, again if the IRS finds out you will pay taxes.

A fictitious  name always works pretty good, here you get free travel some cash incentives this can be tricky if you use a fictitious name.  Also bus charters work well for example if you are employed at a company with several hundred employees you can contact a bus company and ask what they comp for perks.

Sometimes it includes cash, rooms and other perks as well depending on if you are going to Las Vegas, Reno or any of the gaming capitals where you are there overnight or a few days!

Then there is of course the vacation travel for example say you have a Winnebago recreation vehicle and want to travel to various destinations, you will need a year or more to assemble a package for camp sites meals, repair centers and other necessities for your group!

Then their are distributorships and franchises as well such as Travel Brokers Online, TPI Travel Services and others remember if you need more information comments are always returned with an answer!

There are literally thousands of different opportunities for you if you do not have any idea what you are looking for we will add as many different ideas here and future posts for you to decide what you are in need of!

Remember that being in business requires sales ability when you are in business you need to sell your services to the public or to a  business as a supplier so lets start with some sales type businesses!

Kaiser Blair Advertising is what is referred to as an independent contractor you are in business but they help give you support so you can sell a lot of advertising!!  Another firm that also provides advertising material is Newton Manufacturing, they require a small deposit of $150. 

Companies like these are of course on the Internet so you can locate them and see what it is that they offer for your business should you wish to be an outside salesperson.  Some times people team up and form a partnership in which case I would recommend that you contact a good accountant who can assist you in deciding the type of tax situation you want to be in for example, there are partnership filing, Sub Chapter S, corporation chapter C, and others that a qualified accountant can assist you with!!

Other types of businesses are small packing shipping and storage  and  mail service like Mail Etc. many are independent and others are franchises, then there is Pack Mail, Navis Pack & Ship. There are paralegal service franchises as well as independent operations.

Next there are planning events such as Plan Ahead Events, Partner on Call network and others that can give you a good income if executed properly!  One Hour Parties.  Party planning is also big business, this goes along the line of event planning.

Then there are security requirements for children which is turning into a very big business such as "A  Safer School System",   "Child Shield USA", as well as other children's events such as "Abrakadoodle Remarkable Art Education", "Adventure Kids Playcare",   Astro Events of America a party center for kids, and there are several more if you need to know what they are just ask and I will tell you!

BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES #6a starting your new business

STARTING A BUSINESS

What kind of business are you looking for?  Would you like to start a janitorial service where you clean homes and businesses?  There are a few large franchises like Molly Maids, Merry Maids, Jan-Pro and others that are franchises, many are independent and there is a lot of room for new combers!

First you need to see what licenses you need, check with the city for help, another source is S.C.O.R.E.  they are the Senior Citizens Of Retired Executives who can offer a new business a view of what you will need to start and be successful, you can find them online or in the yellow pages!

Of course crowd funding is a great way to get the financial assistance needed to start a business as I posted in other posts, so to have I had the inspiration to seek crowd funding for my future business I am starting!!

Start a business plan before you jump in there are a number of planning sites on the Internet if you need there are free and pay for the better ones so start there as well to get an idea what you will need for virtually any business!

There are a number of business opportunities that you may look into, for example if you have been working for a company for several years and think you can do it the start looking for the avenue of approach you would like to start with, for example work from home or rent a building or office!  

Event planning is big business, if you eve worked in the modern hotels like Sheraton or the Hilton then you will know that dinners, awards banquets and other event planning id big business so there are other businesses as well that make good revenue streams!

Consulting is a great business if you have any expertise in manufacturing or business relations then this is an area that should be considered.  Lookup consultants on the Internet and see the variety of consultants and see if you are needed!!

NEED MONEY??

There are thousands of people getting money from a new source of finance called crowdfunding  I have added a number of items and information regarding this new source of funds  for new and startup businesses!

Crowdfunding is the new help for those seeking money, funding of various sorts, finance and many other opportunities!!!  Are you a disabled veteran then crowdfunding may be your answer!  Are you a senior who has money woos?? Then crowdfunding may be your answer!  Have you lost your job and have a family to feed?  Crowd funding may be the answer!  Looking to start a home based business to support your family after losing your job?  Crowdfunding may be the answer!!!

There will be millions of reasons why you may need crowdfunding if you look at the many different crowdfunding situations you may discover there are those out there in the shadows that really care about your situation if you can write a nice request page ad they are normally easy you could see a lot of money for your project!

Below I have added crowdfunding websites that you should check out and see if any of them offer you the opportunity to fund your personal situation!!!  Another way to look at it is Dough on the Go!!  lol!!!

The following are just a few crowdfunding sites as there are literally dozens upon dozens and each fill a different niche first there is "Go Fund Me"  the big daddy of crowdfunding sites it will be www.gofundme.com and you will be able to read what others have done and see how you can fund your projects!!

Next there is Kickstarter another top of the line crowdfunding site that has a great track record for new start up businesses!!
Followed closely by Indiegogo which is another top gun, pun intended!  They have numerous stories that you could use as a template to discover your opportunity to tell your story and see what funds you could garner for your business!

Then there is Crowdrise and another perrbacker these and as I stated numerous others have different criteria for your needs suck as investments, charity and so on each also collects from your funds received any where from 2.5% up and that is what you need to research, so good luch and happy funding!!!

BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES #3 job or business?

STARTING A NEW ENTERPRISE

There are numerous countries that you could work in today that are looking for employees and some nations nearby that are looking for business start ups, I have seen dozens if not more that are in Mexico, Ecuador, Chili and Brazil, it is not just the major companies that are going over seas its the people who lost their jobs and started over again in a foreign country, oh and the Caribbean is especially good!!

It does not matter what state or country you start a business in it could be the best decision you can make, an example of a gamble was a man went to Mexico to visit while there he discovered that auto parts were hard to get in many small towns so he opened a parts store in a small city and made a fortune.

So to did a helicopter mechanic who started repairing helicopters in Northern Mexico a few years later he opened a motorcycle shop selling new and used motorcycles!!!  The business world is waiting why are you!!??

Many states need special services and special businesses what you need to do is research the kind of enterprise that would fit neatly into a community and make a profit you can be proud of!  With that we will look at the different types of businesses you can start this week or soon!

Are you an  accountant then why are you not in business for yourself with a bookkeeping service or if yo also know taxes add taxes as well a small office in a visible neighborhood, again there are numerous opportunities here you could work out of your home as well!

The way to get started is to make business cards make a bunch of flyer's and past them up on bulletin boards pass them out and of course there is social media so if these are some ideas for you then good luck and get it as they say "To Market"!

More opportunities are for example if your are  an auto mechanic with certified auto repair skills, not a flake like some we know, start a business where you go to the customer,  at their home, their business or your place if you have the room to work without ruining your property and pissing off the neighbors, again this is a self starting mechanism by getting cards, flyer's and maybe social media.  Do small jobs, oil changes, tune-ups, minor repairs you can handle locally without a lot of tools!!!  Have Mechanic Will Travel would be a good slogan!

I use to live in Rancho Calaveras in Calaveras county and there was a local mechanic that did just that and he made a fortune with the locals because the shops in Stockton were at least 28 miles away so if you are in a secluded area this could be a big advantage!!!

For those who live in suburbs and small areas the advantage of starting a business could be phenomenal!!  If you have the drive and business ingenuity this could be the money maker you have been looking for!

How about owning a truck and  car rental?  First there are four major truck rental companies like Budget, Ryder and Penske then U-Haul, they can be a great way to build a small storage business if you are in an area where a storage center may be needed they normally credit operators 25% each month so this could be something worth looking into of course have a business plan outlined, which is a good idea for all the business idea's we mention!

So you want to  start a business, well I hope that you will see some information here on our website blog that will help you to do just that and more, later we will ge into branding which is marketing for those of you who do not understand that we will get into detail later for your benefit!
